In the role of Associateย Financial Analyst-Payroll, you will support theย accurate,ย timely, and compliant processing of payroll across North America.ย ย As part of the Global Business Services (GBS) Payroll team, you willย assistย with payroll administration, reporting, issue resolution, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.ย ย You will collaborate with Payroll managed services providers, HR, Finance, Tax, GPO, IT, and Legal to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy.ย ย 
Whatย You'llย Be Brewing:ย ย 

  • Support theย accurateย andย timelyย processing of payroll across U.S. and Canadian operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.ย 

  • Perform payroll accounting activities, including payroll reconciliations, balance sheet account analysis, general ledger review, accrual validation, and preparation of payroll-related journal entries to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.ย 

  • Review,ย validate, and reconcile payroll data,ย identifyingย and resolving discrepancies prior to payroll processing.ย 

  • Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees, managers, HR, and business stakeholders, providingย a high levelย of customer service.ย 

  • Support compliance activities, SOX controls, audits, and maintenanceย & retentionย of payroll documentation and procedures.ย 

  • Participate in payroll system enhancements, testing, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.ย 

  • Other duties as assignedย 

Key Ingredients:ย ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.ย 

  • 1-3 years of payroll, accounting, finance, human resources, or related experience.ย 

  • Experience supporting multi-state, multi-province, or multi-entityย payrollsย preferred.ย 

  • Experience with payroll systems such as Dayforce, UKG, ADP, Workday, or SAP is preferred.ย 

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC), or Canadian Payroll certification is a plus.ย 

  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and you provideย a high levelย of customer serviceย 

  • You can work with minimal supervision in a team settingย 

  • You can work with andย maintainย confidential documents and informationย 

  • You have excellent organizational skills to complete a large volume of workย timelyย and accurately and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyย

Job Posting Total Rewardsย Offerings: $58,700.00ย -ย $77,100.00ย (posting salary range) +ย 10%ย target short term incentiveย +ย $23,000ย on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
