Position Profile

Weaver’s Audit Investment Funds (IF) practice is looking for an Audit Senior Associate to join their growing team. Audit Investment Funds Senior Associates will perform in-charge responsibilities as assigned on larger and more complex engagements and manager responsibilities on smaller and less complex engagements. Engagements will primarily service a variety of clients within the Financial Services Industry (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, and others) along with periodically assisting on client engagements in other industries. An Audit IF Senior Associate will effectively execute audit plans in all financial statement areas. An Audit IF Senior Associate helps develop staff and client relationships through effective communication and proper planning and execution of engagements.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA candidate
  • 2 – 5+ years of public accounting experience, industry, or a combination of public accounting and industry experience, or its equivalent
  • Experience in Financial Services required (Alternative Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, Broker/Dealers, Insurance or related industries)

Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA
