Job description

Join the Wallets & Lending Finance team to support the finance and strategy operating rhythm for the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Wallets & Lending organization by coordinating recurring reporting, consolidating inputs across teams, and preparing clear, timely leadership updates.

As a Senior Associate within Wallets & Lending Finance, you will partner across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. You will also manage cross functional workstreams with other Connected Commerce pillars of Payments and Lending. Additionally, you will be responsible for one of our key businesses where you will be expected to deliver value-added financial reporting and analysis, and assist with strategic direction and decision making.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis
  • Provide analytics and strategy including, but not limited to stakeholder recommendations, customer behavior, and analyzing card business
  • Create financial business cases supporting business initiatives
  • Develop and track performance metrics, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management
  • Oversee the process to deliver month-end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years.
  • Perform variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and presenting commentary to line of business Chief Financial Officers explaining changes from prior forecasts/budgets.
  • Help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management
  • Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a subject of a technical nature
  • 4+ years of work experience in Financial Services with a Finance, Planning & Analysis, Business Management, Accounting or Consulting background
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
