Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
โ€ข Responsible for elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements.
โ€ข Research and exploration of user requirements, costs, and benefits in support of documentation required for the demand management process.
โ€ข Responsible for analyzing the business needs to identify new processes and process improvements that will meet those needs.
โ€ข Documents current business processes and models to define requirements and/or gaps.
โ€ข Analyze detailed system factors including input/output requirements, information and paper flow, hardware, and software needs.
โ€ข Analyze โ€œsoft" system factors including roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.
โ€ข Evaluate the impact of potential software and process changes on the organization.
โ€ข Develop and facilitate groups as necessary in pursuit of eliciting and defining requirements.
โ€ข Assist in the creation of the business case documentation.
โ€ข Understanding of architectural consistency and usability standards.
โ€ข Defines and develops user test cases and validates test results during testing.
โ€ข Executes unit and functional test cases.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field or equivalent work experience.
โ€ข Proven experience leading data migration requirements from legacy systems into a new ERP (Sage X3) environment
โ€ข Strong hands-on expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management, with emphasis on data mapping, transformation rules, and validation
โ€ข Deep understanding of data structures, data quality, and migration best practices, with the ability to identify gaps and risks early
โ€ข Self-driven and accountable professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to drive outcomes with minimal oversight
โ€ข Working knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
โ€ข Experience in any of the following business areas is desired: Sales operations, order entry, accounting, finance, procurement, warehouse operations, order management, and order fulfillment.
โ€ข Minimum of 3-5 yearsโ€™ business analysis or systems analysis experience is preferred.
โ€ข Bonus: Sage X3 experience (ERP).

Job Description: The Financial Analyst will support the Financial Systems & Reporting team by assisting with system administration, data processing, input package maintenance, reporting, validation, and troubleshooting activities within the SAP BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) environment.

This role is heavily involved in monthly close cycle activities, including master data maintenance, data uploads, data movement between applications, reconciliations, validations, and reporting support. The position will also assist with building and testing new input schedules, reports, and system enhancements while providing support to end users and participating in special projects related to financial reporting and consolidation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and maintenance of the financial consolidation system
  • Execute monthly close cycle routines, validations, and data processing activities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot input schedules, reports, and Data Manager packages within SAP BPC
  • Perform master data updates and data uploads between applications
  • Build and enhance reports, input schedules, and financial reporting solutions
  • Test and validate new and existing Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) processes
  • Investigate and resolve user issues related to reporting and system functionality
  • Support system enhancements, process improvements, and special projects
  • Provide day-to-day support to consolidation system users
