Job description

Front Desk Associate

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Front Desk Associate. In this role, you will provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.

As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll be one of the first associates to greet our guests and to set the tone for their entire experience.

Pay Rate: $16-$18/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Associates are at all times attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests. Managers and fellow associates.
  • Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates and other departments within the resort.
  • Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
  • Fully comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer systems, copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment.
What We're Looking For
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. College coursework in a related field and/or experience in a hotel or resort is helpful.
  • Must be able to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in Windows software or have the ability to learn the necessary programs.
  • Flexible and long hours are sometimes required, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Possibly exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
