Sales Support Coordinator & Estimator – Curated Product Line

RAM Windows & Doors is an exciting and rapidly growing manufacturer of residential and commercial windows and doors. RAM has been manufacturing high end custom windows since 1978. We expanded our product offering in 2021 to include high end custom exterior doors. We further expanded our door product offering to include our Curated (Standard) Door Line, which is marketed towards the semi-custom, production builders throughout Texas. With this expanded product offering, we can offer our doors and windows, creating endless opportunities for an aggressive, hardworking, and motivated individual.

Title: Curated Line – Sales Support Coordinator

Function: Sales Support & Estimating

POSITION SUMMARY

The Curated Line Sales Support Coordinator will work directly with our Curated Line Product Manager. By working together as a team, this individual will assist him with daily administrative tasks and providing estimates for our Curated (Production) Builders throughout Texas. The ideal candidate has customer service/basic sales experience and a basic understanding of the residential construction market. Ideally, this individual has experience reading blueprints and the ability to quote windows and doors from those plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working as a team with the Curated Line Manager to assist with current client needs and help grow the market segment
  • Oversee timely processing of sales orders
  • Manage inbound sales and service calls from builders with patience, professionalism, and urgency while providing detailed notes of their requests.
  • Scheduling installation and service tickets with our internal team
  • Research and follow-up with customers and other departments to ensure effective communication and satisfactory completion of work
  • Formulates project estimates/proposals to ensure a quality, accurate and timely submission
  • Responsible for the development of detailed residential window & door take-off’s based on plans presented by the builder.
  • Estimating and bidding projects using electronic takeoff methods and WTS software
  • Use estimating templates and procedures that have been implemented and provide suggestions on improvements and efficiency of current procedures
  • Work across channels and teams to ensure all departments have accurate and updated information to complete assigned tasks
  • Prepares documents, emails, letters, correspondence with highest professional grammar
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and rapport building skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate an ability to quickly learn new information and be able to verbally communicate a pattern of success
  • Excellent time management
  • Accurate data entry, attention to detail and high organizational skills are a must
  • Pleasant phone persona and great listening skills with a calm nature is desired

REQUIRED JOB-RELATED SPECIFICATIONS

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is required
  • Prior experience with Paradigm Quoting Software and BuildPro/SupplyPro

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Positive, high-energy attitude
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set
  • Familiarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or Equivalent required
  • Ideally candidate will have completed some level of higher education, Associates or Bachelor’s degree
  • Must have at least 1-3 years of customer service, installation, service, or related experience
  • Experience in the residential construction/building materials industry is ideal.

PHYSICAL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, up to 50-75%
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and/or climb on different terrains
  • Judgment, decision-making, follow-up, social awareness, reading/writing, organizational, timeliness, stress tolerance, communication (oral and written)
