Responsibilities

Water/Wastewater Project Engineers prepare and review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates related to a variety of water/wastewater and linear projects. They may also help develop the project scope and fee for services and assist the project team in communicating with the client and meeting contractual obligations to move a project forward. They may design and maintain ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with local, state, and federal officials, and other outside agencies and may supervise the work of technical support personnel assigned to the project. Water / Wastewater projects will include treatment facility planning and design, raw water intakes, water distribution lines, booster pump station design, regional water planning, water system mapping and management plans, lift station design, sanitary sewer system planning and design, asset management planning, and a variety of permitting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of water / wastewater experience.

  • PE licensure or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.

  • Valid driver’s license.
