Stephens & Associates (DBS&A) a Geo-Logic Associates company, is a water resources, engineering, and environmental consulting firm providing comprehensive services in in hydrology, engineering, and geosciences. In this position, you will work hand-in-hand with a diverse range of educated professionals with backgrounds in hydrology and geology; soil and environmental science; civil, chemical, and environmental engineering; geographic information system (GIS) and computer drafting; and field and laboratory technology. You will tackle a wide-range of clients’ challenges related to management and development of natural resources and the environment, such as evaluating and abating water quality impacts or providing critical infrastructure to underserved communities. As a Supervisory Engineer, you will lead a team of project managers and engineers for various municipal, tribal and private clients. You will apply your technical expertise and knowledge to design, implement, and evaluate solutions. You will also supervise and mentor junior staff, prepare and review technical reports and proposals, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in civil or environmental engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent technical writing skills; including conveying technical ideas to a non-technical audience
  • Professionalism, leadership, and interpersonal skills, and an ability to work independently and in teams

This position may require ability and willingness to undertake periodic travel, including possible short- term assignments to remote project locations or industrial areas, may include working in adverse weather conditions and the ability to traverse varying terrain.

Position level and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional engineering registration
  • Technical expertise in one or more of these areas: utility planning, design, and construction (water, wastewater, reclaimed water), stormwater, environmental investigation and remediation, landfill permitting, design, and construction
  • Experience managing projects of all sizes (up to $1 million fee)
  • Experience managing a team and developing staff resources

Candidate Must:

  • Be eligible to work in the United States
  • Posses a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record acceptable to our insurer
  • Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
