POSITION TITLE: Associate Engineer- BOM’s Configurator

DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING

JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME, EXEMPT

REPORTS TO: ENGINEERING MANAGER

LOCATION: LEOMINSTER, MA

Role Overview: As an Associate Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting special projects and strategic initiatives within our engineering department. Your primary responsibilities will include generating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and creating simple drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. While prior experience with CAD programs is preferred, candidates without experience will also be considered and provided with internal training. Additionally, this position will involve contacting customers to gather details and specifications for special projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on project specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create simple drawings and schematics as required.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Contact customers to gather necessary details and specifications for special projects.
  • Assist in reviewing and revising technical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions to contribute ideas and insights for project improvement.
