Job description

Electrical Drafter
The Electrical CAD Drafter will assist the Electrical Engineer with drafting electrical wiring diagrams and designing electrical control panels using AutoCAD Electrical software. Electrical control systems will be installed on precision drilling machines.
  • Associates degree in Engineering Technologies, CAD Drafting, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years' experience in computer drafting competency with the following software: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access) Acrobat Electrical with electrical schematics/wiring diagrams and electrical control systems is preferred
  • Draft electrical schematic drawings for new machines using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Draft electrical panel layouts and wiring diagrams for new machines
  • Revise electrical drawings with design updates
  • Submit engineering change notices (ECN) to production control
  • Determine cable routing and lengths
  • Assist in machine manual publication and assembly
  • Additional drafting for mechanical parts and assemblies may occasionally be required
