Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Electrical Field Engineer to support electrical and instrumentation-related field operations for water treatment and industrial construction projects. This role will assist with site coordination, equipment installation, electrical system review, troubleshooting, documentation, and construction execution. The ideal candidate is willing to work in the field, learn site operations, and gradually participate in electrical planning, control logic, and technical coordination as they gain experience.


This is a Full time and ON-SITE position.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage on-site work schedules for electrical and instrumentation-related activities.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, parallel contractors, vendors, field teams, and internal departments to support smooth site execution.
  • Support site construction, installation follow-up, safety, quality, punch list tracking, and corrective action implementation.
  • Assist with on-site equipment assembly, installation, inspection, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, P&IDs, and technical documents to support field execution.
  • Prepare and maintain E&I engineering documents, daily/weekly/monthly reports, meeting notes, progress updates, and issue logs.
  • Attend client meetings, internal reviews, progress meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
  • Support pre-construction risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, pre-shift safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
  • Assist with procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, material tracking, vendor coordination, and ERP system updates.
  • Work closely with construction, commissioning, safety, quality, and project teams to ensure safe and high-quality project execution.


Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience or strong interest in construction sites, industrial facilities, semiconductor facilities, water treatment systems, wastewater systems, equipment installation, or field engineering work is preferred.
  • Internship, co-op, or hands-on experience in construction, commissioning, facility maintenance, electrical installation, instrumentation, mechanical systems, or industrial projects is a plus.
  • Ability to read or willingness to learn electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, P&IDs, and related technical documents.
  • Comfortable working in a fully on-site field environment, including field walks, installation follow-up, safety coordination, documentation, and project execution.
  • Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, communication skills, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
