Title: Electronics Technician

Location: 2000 Progress Parkway, Schaumburg, IL

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Interview: 1 onsite | 1 Hour

Education: Technical Associate's Degree

Experience: 4+ years analyzing and troubleshooting radio circuits.

RF Focus

Scope of Responsibilities

Analyze and troubleshoot 2-way radios and repeaters

Create or modify cable assemblies

Rework circuits including:

0201 size parts

Standard SOICs

Fine-pitch BGAs

Test radios and repeaters for product certification

Track prototype radios and repeaters

Read schematics and layouts

Stay organized and multitask effectively

Proficient with test equipment: Multimeters and Oscilloscopes

Skilled in:

Soldering and replacing 0201 parts, SOICs, BGAs

Rework using small-gauge wire (32 AWG or smaller)

Working knowledge of:

Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL

PCB Layout Editor

LabVIEW (preferred)

Python (preferred)

Main Responsibilities:

Working knowledge of Cadence Allegro Design Entry HDL & PCB Layout Editor

Familiarity with LabVIEW and Python (preferred)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Software Proficiency: Cadence Allegro, LabVIEW, Python (preferred)

Lifting Requirements: Occasional lifting (up to 20 lbs)

Training Duration: 1–2 weeks

Industry Experience: Mandatory – past experience in soldering and debugging electrical circuits
