Do you have experience with the JCIDS/SOFCIDS or Defense Acquisition System process?  ABOUT THIS ROLE St. Michael’s is hiring a Management Analyst to support a Department of War (DoW) client. As the Management Analyst, you will provides analytical support for USSOCOM’s requirements generation and management process and the appropriate depth of support required to work within the JCIDS process, JROC, and other DOD and IC capabilities-related requirements processes.  You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your prior experience, and expertise with Joint Staff FCB Working Groups. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will provide support for the preparation, editing, and review of requirements-related studies and policy and directive reviews relevant to USSOCOM capability requirements LOCATION Tampa, FL (MacDill AFB - onsite)  WHO YOU ARE * Active Top Secret Clearance * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or Science with 2 years of work experience within an administrative/managerial role; an Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Management with 4 years of work experience within an administrative/managerial role; or 6 years work experience within an administrative/managerial role. * 1 year of experience using DoD’s JCIDS/SOFCIDS or Defense Acquisition System (DAS) process. * Completion of Level B Requirements Management Certification Training IAW JCIDS. * Minimum of 3 years in Special Operations, across any of the following functional areas: Army Special Forces, Army Special Operations Aviation, Civil Affairs and/or Psychological Operations, Navy Special Warfare, Air Force Special Operations Headquarters USSOCOM or SOF Components/TSOCs * 2 years of Staff/Action Officer experience at a senior level command (interagency HQ, Joint Staff, or COCOM / equivalent 2-Star level command). PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provides analytical support for USSOCOM’s requirements generation and management process and the appropriate depth of support required to work within the JCIDS process, JROC, and other DOD and IC capabilities-related requirements processes. * Advises, documents, staffs, and advocates for USSOCOM materiel and non-materiel capability requirements in accordance with the most current CJCSI 5123.01, the JCIDS Manual, and the most current USSOCOM Directive 71-4 SOFCIDS. Tasks include preparing concise and articulate oral and written communications and recommendations to command and component staffs, as well as to GO/FO/SES and Political Appointee level leaders in USSOCOM and OSD for coordination, validation, or endorsement. * Coordinates with Joint Staff and OSD staff to ensure that USSOCOM requirements and capability shortfalls are documented, coordinated, and advocated. * Monitors, engages, and supports Joint Staff FCB Working Groups on issues relevant to USSOCOM. The contractor shall maintain awareness of key issues, meetings, deadlines, etc. of Joint Staff’s FCB, JCB, JROC, and Intelligence Community processes relevant to USSOCOM capability requirements. * Supports execution year funding processes and USSOCOM’s Strategic Planning Processes as required by verifying requirements validation status, approval authorities, IOC/FOC quantities, etc. * Provides SME and support for the preparation, editing, and review of requirements-related studies and policy and directive reviews relevant to USSOCOM capability requirements. * Provides analytical support for the preparation of responses to Congressional, OSD, and command requests for information on validated requirements and requirements-related activities.
