Your background in Mixed-Signal IP, SOC, or ASIC development means you can hold your own in technical conversations with engineering leads, and you know what good looks like when a project manager is trying to wrangle a complex deliverable. You are comfortable sitting with a customer who is frustrated and walking out with a plan that rebuilds trust. At Synopsys, you will lead a team of project engineering managers who depend on you to clear the path, make the tough calls, and keep the portfolio moving.

• Lead and mentor a team of project engineering managers responsible for delivering Mixed-Signal IP and semiconductor development projects on scope, on schedule, and to the quality standards customers expect
• Track and analyze portfolio performance across multiple concurrent projects, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve execution and outcomes
• Monitor project health in real time, spotting early warning signs of schedule slippage, resource constraints, or scope misalignment, and guiding your team to course-correct before issues escalated
• Communicate project status, risks, and customer escalations to senior management with clarity and context, ensuring leadership has what they need to make informed decisions
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and IP Program Management teams to align project execution with both pre-sales commitments and post-sales delivery
• Drive process innovation and consistency across the project management function, helping your team adopt tools, methodologies, and best practices that improve efficiency and predictability
• Support your project managers in high-stakes customer interactions, stepping in to represent project execution externally when credibility, technical depth, or senior-level engagement is required

• Your leadership will directly influence whether dozens of customer projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to spec, which translates to revenue, renewals, and reputation
• You will build a project management culture that scales, where your team knows how to manage complexity, communicate risk, and make decisions without waiting for perfect information
• Your ability to spot portfolio-level patterns will help senior leadership allocate resources more effectively and prioritize the right work at the right time
• You will reduce customer escalations by ensuring that risks are surfaced early, managed proactively, and communicated transparently before they become crises
• Your mentorship will grow the next generation of project engineering managers at Synopsys, raising the bar for how technical project leadership shows up across the organization
• You will strengthen cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Sales, and Customer Support, ensuring that commitments made during the sales cycle are grounded in what project teams can actually deliver
• Your focus on quality assurance and process rigor will improve the consistency and predictability of project outcomes across the Mixed-Signal IP product line

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in project management, program management, or technical delivery roles, ideally in Mixed-Signal IP, SOC, ASIC, or semiconductor development environments
• Proven track record leading teams of project managers or technical program managers and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects to completion
• Deep experience managing customer expectations, navigating difficult conversations, and maintaining trust under pressure
• Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, you know what works in practice, not just in theory
• Experience adhering to quality management system processes and procedures is a strong plus
• Comfort operating at both strategic and tactical levels, you can set direction for a portfolio and also roll up your sleeves to help unstick a specific project when needed

• You can walk into a project review, hear five minutes of updates, and know which one needs your attention and why
• You do not wait for someone to tell you there is a problem, you ask the questions that surface risks before they land on a senior leader's desk
• You can explain a complex project tradeoff to a VP in two sentences without losing the nuance, and you can do the same with a frustrated customer
• You build trust with your team by being clear about what matters, making decisions when they need to be made, and backing your people when they make the right call
• You are comfortable saying no when scope, timeline, or resources do not line up, and you know how to frame that no in a way that moves the conversation forward
• You thrive in environments where priorities shift, requirements evolve, and success depends on your ability to keep multiple moving pieces aligned without losing momentum
