In the role of Human Resources Representative, we'll count on you to:
  • Have a passion for working with people and a focus on employee engagement
  • Assist the local Raleigh office, NC area, and corporate HR Department with a variety of HR-related tasks
  • Conduct an engaging new hire orientation, assist with the completion of new hire paperwork, and verify I-9 documentation
  • Create employment requisitions, coordinate interview schedules, assist with documentation of annual recruiting plans, and coordinate immigration information with Immigration
  • Partner with the area to coordinate the Internship Program
  • Conduct offboarding and processing of terminations
  • Use corporate systems to maintain employee records and process personnel transactions
  • Provide excellent HR customer service for employee and manager requests and questions related to company policies, procedures, benefits, hiring, etc.
  • Comple Affirmative Action Plans
  • Provide support for running reports and analysis of a variety of HR data and audits
  • Demonstrate knowledge of HDR policies and procedures
  • Understand basic HDR benefit plan provisions, assist with employees' benefit-related questions of moderate complexity, and refer complex questions to Corporate Benefits
  • Review employee system queries periodically for accuracy of information
  • Assists with the annual performance review process
  • Plan and direct service anniversary celebrations with local offices
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, presentations, meetings and conference calls
  • Complete administrative functions such as record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entries, making photocopies, and drafting and sending emails
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and sensitive employee information
  • Assist with special projects
  • Must be able to work in the downtown Raleigh office to support managers and employees
  • Ability to travel around 3 times a year for team building, training, and conferences
  • Perform other duties as needed

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Local candidates preferred

  • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees and management

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs
  • Basic understanding of business activities
