Connected Logistics is seeking an EDI/XML SME to support the Information Operations Enterprise Enclave (IOEE) and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave (IOSEE) systems and equipment with the goal of providing a secure, reliable, and high-performance network that effectively enables DLA's business activities. This requires the ability to deploy to any DLA site in support of installation or troubleshooting activities. 


The EDI/XML SME is responsible for the duties, tasks, and activities required to make the program/project successful and actively  

participates in the management decision-making process.  You will also be responsible for tasks including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, integrating, and controlling activities necessary for all tasks to meet schedule and performance requirements.  In this role you will manage all day-to day operations including administrative functions, assessing risks, identifying assumptions, and resolving interpersonal conflicts.  

 
Key Responsibilities  


  • Provide expert-level support, analysis, and research for highly complex technical issues and related processes with minimal direction.
  • Serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams, offering technical direction, interpretation, and solution alternatives.
  • Apply independent judgment and strong written and verbal communication skills to support program objectives.
  • Use extensive technical expertise and knowledge of related disciplines to guide the successful completion of major programs.
  • Develop creative and practical technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and sound decision-making.
  • Exercise broad latitude in determining technical objectives and may function in a project leadership role.
  • Provide expertise in specialized Information Technology areas such as systems architecture, telecommunications systems design and implementation, systems integration, software development methodologies, security engineering, and communications or network systems management.








Requirements:


  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology) 
  • 10 years of experience in IT/logistics project or program management, specifically EDI/XML experience; supervisory experience. 
  • Must have experience in DoW project management. 
  • Must have experience using MS Project. 

Certifications

  • Project Management Certification from a nationally recognized authority   


DoD 8140 (DoDD 8570) IAT Level III Baseline Certification (At least one of these)

  • CompTIA Advanced security Practitioner with Continuing Education (CASP+ CE)
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP or Associate)
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Plus Computing Environment Certifications(At least one of these)

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional Enterprise (CCNP-E)
  • Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA)

Additional Preferred Certifications

  • Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert – Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE-EI) is preferred
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals
  • CompTIA Cloud+
  • Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)
