Donor Data Analyst

Trellis Supportive Care

Make an Impact Behind the Scenes

At Trellis Supportive Care, every donor helps make compassionate hospice and palliative care possible for patients and families in our community. We are seeking a Donor Data Analyst who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about using data to support meaningful fundraising efforts.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our donor database while transforming data into meaningful reports, insights, and trends that help strengthen donor relationships and fundraising strategies.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in Raiser’s Edge, ensuring a high level of data integrity and timely gift entry.
  • Process and coordinate donor gift acknowledgments, thank-you letters, matching gifts, tribute gifts, and other donor communications.
  • Analyze fundraising results, identify trends, and prepare reports to support donor portfolio management and fundraising decisions.
  • Develop customized reports for Finance, including information needed for 990 reporting and financial audits.
  • Create reports and data files for direct mail, newsletters, e-communications, and other fundraising initiatives.
  • Manage donor segmentation and ensure appeals, packages, and actions are accurately tracked in Raiser’s Edge.
  • Coordinate monthly reconciliation with Finance to ensure accurate financial and donor records.
  • Maintain database processes, policies, and procedures that improve data quality and efficiency.
  • Support donor research and provide analytical information to members of the Donor Relations team.
  • Assist with fundraising events, gatherings, and other departmental activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with volunteers to support monthly mailings
What We’re Looking For
  • Two years of college or business school, or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong data entry, computer, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with donor database software; Raiser’s Edge experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive donor and agency information.
