Summary

Personal Bankers are relationship-driven professionals who are passionate about helping clients achieve financial well-being and confidence in their financial future. They build and deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients by understanding their unique financial goals, recommending tailored banking solutions, and ensuring a seamless and accurate account opening experience. Successful Personal Bankers deliver exceptional client service through meaningful conversations, proactive outreach, and knowledgeable guidance on the Bank's products and services. Working collaboratively with branch team members, Personal Bankers contribute to individual, branch, and organizational goals while fostering long-term client loyalty and financial growth.

Responsibilities

  • Actively develop new business and deepen existing client relationships through enthusiastic, ethical promotion of bank products through cold calling, daily outbound calls and sales meetings, and group presentations of appropriate consumer and small business banking products and services.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing fast, easy, and personalized service, resolving issues promptly, building lasting relationships, and taking ownership of client needs through successful resolution.
  • Meet or exceed established sales, referral, and client retention goals through effective relationship management and consistent execution of sales strategies.
  • Identify client financial needs and provide tailored solutions, including deposit accounts, digital banking services, credit cards, and lending products, while promoting a full-service banking relationship.
  • Educate clients on digital banking tools and self-service channels, increasing adoption and enhancing the overall client experience.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to identify referral opportunities and ensure clients receive comprehensive financial solutions.
  • Accurately open and service accounts, process transactions, and complete all required documentation in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, bank policies, and procedures, including BSA, OFAC, audit, and security requirements.
  • Complete required training in a timely manner and maintain current knowledge of bank products, services, regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Other specified duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

The work environment is typical of a standard office or retail banking setting. The position involves standing most of the workday. The position will involve moving about the workspace to reach entrances/exits, restrooms, conference rooms, or other areas within the work environment. Reaching may be required involving the ability to move arms in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone, will be used requiring the ability to manipulate a keyboard, mouse, and/or keypad. The ability to decipher a computer screen or written documents is necessary. The ability to express or exchange ideas; impart information to clients, coworkers, or the public; or to convey detailed or important instructions; is required. The ability to receive and understand detailed information shared through oral or written communication is required. Position requires lifting and/or the exerting of up to 10 pounds of force.

Compensation & Benefits

The Personal Banker positionpay rate is $22.00 to $28.50 per hour depending on experience.This position is eligible for additional incentive compensation monthly, based on achievement of established incentive goals.
