Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize raw materials, processes, and products to support business objectives, including new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and execute projects using a structured stage-gate methodology to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful delivery.
  • Partner with commercial teams and customers to support the implementation of new products and processes, and to resolve technical challenges.
  • Define and establish process and product parameters, including operational settings, performance properties, and specifications.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, capacity, and quality through process optimization and innovation.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging materials, technologies, equipment, and competitive offerings through ongoing research and industry engagement
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Textile Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D, product development, or a similar technical role
  • Proven project management experience (5+ years), with the ability to lead initiatives from concept through commercialization
  • Experience working with textiles, nonwovens, polymers, or spunbond technologies strongly preferred
  • Background in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of production processes and scale-up
  • Familiarity with stage-gate or structured product development processes preferred
  • Self-motivated professional with a strong desire for growth and long-term career development
