Job description

The Adobe Business Group (ABG) Business Development Director (BDD) serves as Accenture's primary Adobe ecosystem growth leader, responsible for driving joint market development, origination, pipeline creation, and strategic partnership expansion with Adobe. Working across an industry, account teams, and Adobe leadership, the BDD identifies and develops joint opportunities, shapes market-relevant relationships and accelerates growth through deep Adobe specialization and ecosystem-led sales motions.

Strategic Focus Areas

This role sits at the intersection of sales, alliances, industry strategy, and innovation, helping clients unlock value through Adobe Experience Cloud, Content Supply Chain, Data & Personalization, and Generative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute joint Accenture-Adobe growth strategies and co-sell motions for assigned accounts and clients.

  • Build relationships with Adobe Partner Development Managers, Sales and Industry Leaders, and Account Teams.

  • Originate opportunities involving Adobe Technologies.

  • Work closely with Accenture and Adobe leadership team to drive pipeline growth.

  • Lead executive workshops, innovation sessions, and value realization discussions.

  • Develop business cases and ROI narratives that align technology investments to measurable business outcomes.

  • Create differentiated industry solutions, thought leadership, and joint offerings aligned to Adobe priorities.

  • Enable Accenture and Adobe field teams on joint value propositions and strategic growth plays.

Travel is required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 50% depending on business need and client requirements.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 8 years of business development, sales, alliance, or consulting experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of complex pursuit management and opportunity development experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience of Adobe technologies and offerings.
  • Experience building and maintaining a pipeline of $15M+
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with selling Adobe technologies and offerings.
  • Strong understanding of the Adobe Sales culture and preexisting relationship with the Adobe Sales Team (VP, RVP, AD etc.)
  • Comfortable with leveraging AI in day to day work and an understanding of the roles, benefits, and limitations of applying Generative and Agentic AI in a client environment.
  • Experience working with Global 2000 organizations.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage CIOs, CDAOs, CTOs, CISOs, COOs, and Line-of-Business leaders.
  • Experience selling or shaping enterprise technology transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of marketing transformation programs, data-driven customer engagement, and intelligent content supply chain.
  • Proven executive relationship management skills.
