Who You Are

As an Associate DevOps Engineer at Ontic, you will join our growing engineering team to help bridge the gap between development and operations. This is an entry-level role designed for a motivated graduate to learn the ropes of maintaining high-level security and reliability for our cloud-based services.

You will support our team in cloud initiatives and ongoing service maintenance. As an integral part of our global team, you will collaborate closely with DevOps professionals in the U.S. and India, contributing to projects while building your technical expertise in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the global DevOps team to maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure across cloud environments (AWS/GCP).

  • Learn and implement automation scripts (Python/Bash) to improve operational efficiency.

  • Support CI/CD pipeline tasks, gaining hands‑on experience with tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Monitor application and server health, learning to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues.

  • Explore the integration of AI tools and concepts into our DevOps workflows.

  • Maintain and update documentation for systems, processes, and infrastructure.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (0-1 years of experience)

  • Foundational knowledge of Linux, Networking, scripting and OS concepts

  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/AZURE)

  • Understanding of Python

  • Understanding of DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Git, Docker/containers, Kubernetes) through internships or projects

  • Exposure to AI concepts/tools
