Position Overview:

Note: This opportunity is open to current and continuing students looking to gain internship experience prior to their graduation. A valid co-op and/or work permit is required to work full-time for the duration of the internship. This is a hybrid/remote position, based out of Calgary, AB.

We are looking for a Software Development Associate to assist in the design, development, and implementation of our software and AI powered solutions. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineering team to build and enhance applications that improve agricultural support, from diagnosis and problem solving of issues with agricultural equipment through our AI powered Assistant, automation tools and data analytics platforms. This is an ideal opportunity for a student with a passion for technology and a keen interest in the agricultural space.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior developers to design, build, and test software solutions that address the needs of the agricultural sector.
  • Contribute to coding, debugging, and documenting software applications.
  • Assist in the development of new features, from initial concept to deployment.
  • Assist in research and development for improvements to our AI powered Assistant.
  • Help optimize and improve the performance of existing software systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and best practices.
  • Test software functionality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and data scientists, to align technical solutions with business objectives.
