Design Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC Our client is looking for a design engineer to develop innovating design solutions that meet customer and market needs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and compliant with industry standards. Responsibilities include: - Create detailed designs using CAD software and other design tools - Support production with documentation, models, BOMs, job packets, and problem-solving - Provide technical documentation to support the sales team - Collaborate across teams to integrate design solutions seamlessly - Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements - Deliver solutions that align with customer requirements and expectations Requirements: - Mechanical Engineering or Technical degree, Associate's degree, or 3+ years of CAD experience - Strong CAD experience, AutoDesk Inventor preferred Preferences: - Experience with product development and design processes - Background in medical gas, HVAC, or industrial equipment industries
