Job Description
Our government customers want assistance with creating CAD models of missile systems, their subcomponents and technical memos detailing physical design assessments for all subcomponents.
Responsibilities
  • Drafting CAD models of missile components in Solidworks.
  • Ensuring CAD models align with the standards and templates of our customer's vehicle design team.
  • Verifying the compatibility of finalized CAD models with other major assemblies per design requirements.
  • Guaranteeing acceptance of modelled components via reviews with our customers vehicle design team.
  • Helping our customers to develop Parts Data Management (PDM) standards and requirements.

Minimal Qualifications:
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in creating 3D CAD models in Solidworks.
  • Demonstrated conscientious and collaborative work habits to help our customers improve CAD modeling productivity.

Desired Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
  • 3 or more years of professional experience in design and analysis.
  • 5 or more years of experience generating CAD models in Solidworks with application to rocket boosters.
  • Professional experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software.
  • Professional experience using Solidworks PDM.
  • Professional experience conducting intelligence analyses.
  • One of the following SolidWorks certifications: Certified Associate (CSWA), Professional (CSWP), and Expert (CSWE).

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or related field.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Applicants must have an active TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions.
