About This Role

We're looking for someone with a passion for early childhood education to join our Keene Day Care Center team. If you're energetic, playful, kind, respectful, curious, and reliable, you'd be a great fit. As an Associate Teacher, you'll support the Lead Teacher in developing a cohesive teaching team and managing the day-to-day operations of the classroom. We're dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and culturally sensitive environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.

What You'll Do
  • Establish a nurturing and loving relationship with the children in our care.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to all Center policies, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to implement an engaging and effective educational curriculum.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed in the absence of the Lead Teacher.
  • Engage with the children at all times, fostering a sense of presence and attentiveness.
  • Build strong relationships with families through open and friendly communication.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the teaching team.

Requirements

18 years old

High School diploma or equivalent

A minimum of 9 credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification within the first 30 days of hire

Must pass a full background check and a health screening


Nice To Haves

An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education would be an asset.

Previous experience working in an early childhood program would be beneficial.
