We are excited to grow our team with a permanent, full-time Software Developer.Reporting to theSeniorDevelopment Team Lead, theSoftware Developeris responsible forthe efficient design and delivery of high-quality software solutions for Microsoft Dynamics ERP to meet client needs.


This position requires the individual to work at our Burnaby head office on a hybrid basis. Our head office is located at 7300 Edmonds St #800, Burnaby BC, V3N 0G8.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clarify and confirm product feature requirements with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create functional design specifications for new product features and functionality.
  • Develop andmaintainautomated unit test and integration tests.
  • Regularly perform, advise on, and helpmaintaina CI/CD driven product release process.
  • Full lifecycle application development; Tailor software solutions,customizationsand enhancements for customers.
  • Development ofhigh-qualitycodein a timely manner.
  • Investigating,analyzingand replicating issues and providing support to customers.
  • Testing and analyzing for operational functionality of solutions; delivery of finished products and implementation.
  • Perform tuning improvement on software.
  • Participate inmodifyingand improving business solutions design.
  • Play a lead role in the refactoring of existing productsin order toimprove compliance, consistency, robustness & performance.
  • Mentor new and junior team members; act as a resource and provide them with orientation/knowledge on specific product areas; be the role model and promote communication and collaboration with the team.
  • Lead approved R&D initiativeswhenrequired.
  • Conduct code reviews on an as-needed basis.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed across the software development lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain AI agents and Copilot-enabled features within Business Central extensions.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Skills Required:

  1. At least4 years of professional experience using the AL development language for Business Central extension development
  2. Experience developing andmaintainingautomated unit and integration tests using the Business Central AL testing framework.
  3. Experience performing andmaintainingthe full deployment cycle of Business Central AppSource and PTE extensions in a CI/CD enabled environment.
  4. Experience developing generative AI enabled features for Business Central extensions using the Business Central AI Development toolkit and libraries.
  5. Strong database knowledge and an in-depth understanding of MS SQL server and the ability to use transact - SQL to develop stored procedures.
  6. High attention to detail with an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Team player: a strong collaborator who thrives in a team-based environment.
  8. Growth-oriented mindset: a desire to continuously learn and grow both professionally and personally.
  9. Adaptability: readily adjusts to new circumstances and challenges with a positive and proactive attitude.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related business discipline.
  • 4+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
  • Valid MB-800 - Microsoft Certification: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associateis required.
  • Valid MB-820 - Microsoft Certification: Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associateis required.
  • Accounting certification is an asset.
