Job description

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate Location: Novato CA 94949 Type: Contract Compensation: $28.00/hr + Shift Differential Work Model: Onsite Hours: Sunday -Tuesday/ with alternating Saturdays 6pm-7am

Overview Leading biotechnology company looking for a Manufacturing Associate. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering or an associate degree in science/Biotech certificate with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Apply understanding of process theory and equipment operation within biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Support process optimization initiatives and identify processing issues, contributing to solutions.
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of operational procedures and process documents.
  • Utilize Quality systems such as Deviations, CAPAs, Change Requests, and Action/Alert Reports to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in projects, support new business systems, and contribute to department metrics trending.
  • Perform physically strenuous, repetitive tasks including bending, reaching, climbing stairs, kneeling, and equipment connections.
  • Lift, dispense, push, or pull items averaging 25 pounds independently.
  • Work around loud equipment and wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Support various shift schedules, including off-hours work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or an Associate’s degree in science with 2+ years of biotech manufacturing experience or relevant regulated industry experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with conflict resolution and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions.
