Schedule: Friday-Sunday - 7:30am-8pm, on-call 2-3 times a month.

 As a Registered Nurse (Float) at Royal Oaks Hospital, 
you’ll play a key role in providing safe, high-quality care to children and teens working toward emotional and behavioral stability. You’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team that values collaboration, compassion, and clinical excellence—helping each patient move toward hope and healing.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting youth in crisis and thrives in a team-based, therapeutic environment. You’ll use your clinical skills to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people and their families.

This position is based at Royal Oaks Hospital, a subsidiary of Compass Health Network.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered nursing care for children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate individualized care
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, ensuring safety and quality standards are met
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
• Mentor and support new nursing team members to promote professional growth
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education efforts 

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Associate’s degree in nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

At least one year of psychiatric experience preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

RN or GN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation required
