The person in this position will be responsible for duties related to teaching as an adjunct faculty. Internet instruction may be required. Associate of Applied Science instructors : Bachelor's degree (associate degree and/or industry certification applicants considered) and three years related industry experience and demonstrated record of teaching excellence preferred.

Demonstrated student centeredness. Associate of Arts instructors: Master's degree in the field with 18 graduate hours the discipline and demonstrated record of teaching excellence. Demonstrated student centeredness.

Preference given to those with previous community college experience and those whom are in state residents. Have a working knowledge of computers as a medium to manage and improve instruction. Ability to interact with a broad range of people both on and off campus in a positive manner.

Show evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess an understanding of the range of needs community college students represent. Possess a commitment to the philosophy and mission of the community college.

Willingness to improve instruction through professional development including pedagogy and technology. *Completed applications will include cover letter, resume, three contact references, and unofficial transcripts (official transcripts must be requested upon hire). Employment will require a criminal background check at college expense.
