Scope of Position
Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking an Adjunct in Developmental Math to work on the Godfrey, IL campus. LC's Mission is to empower people by raising aspirations and fostering achievement through dynamic, compassionate and responsible learning experiences. Key Measurable Expectations (KMEs)
  • Create, administer, and grade assignments of LC students;
  • Calculate and submit grades for students;
  • Collaborate with Professors on coursework;
  • Stay current on material in the needed field of study;
  • Provide support and guidance for students as needed.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
  • Bachelor's Degree in Math Education or Statistics at an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics at an accredited college or university.
  • Experience teaching at the community college level.
