Research and Development Associate 
Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, Pavco Inc. is a 75+ year old private company that enjoys sustained growth domestically and internationally by developing industry leading technologies for metal coatings.
Job Description
Pavco is seeking a Research and Development Associate to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina assisting in the Research and Development of metal coating technologies. This individual will work alongside Senior R&D engineers to support the efforts in new and existing research projects for future product releases. In doing so, extensive collaboration will exist between Pavco sales, marketing, and technical service departments.  
Job Requirements
  • Must have general aptitude in math and sciences.
  • Hands-on experience in wet chemistry preferred.
  • Experience within the chemical industry and/or electroplating is preferred, but not required. 
  • Must possess a high school degree or equivalent, associate degree in scientific field preferred.
  • Safety training is a plus. 
  • Willingness to handle hazardous chemicals safely, lifting 5-20 pounds regularly.
  • Must be reliable, able to multi-task, punctual and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • 5+ year career experience preferred.
