The Point is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Math Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in math to students, following the established curriculum while maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach assigned math courses
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the state standards and curriculum guidelines.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying academic levels, learning styles, and needs.
  • Assign and grade student work, including essays, projects, quizzes, and exams, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Foster an engaging, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to motivate and challenge students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including grades, attendance, and behavioral notes.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to keep them informed of student progress and any concerns.
  • Attend departmental meetings and collaborate with other teachers to support student achievement and department initiatives.
  • Uphold school policies and maintain professional standards of conduct at all times.
