REQUIREMENTS:
  • This is an IN-PERSON POSITION. Candidates who are remote should not apply.
  • Bachelor's Degree is REQUIRED. Applicants in college should not apply.

TUTORS:
Huntington Learning Center is hiring in-person, part-time tutors who have expertise and experience tutoring in different areas:
MATH TUTORS:
Huntington Learning Center is looking for tutors with the ability to teach math topics ranging from lower level math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus (including AP), through AP Calculus A/B, as well as SAT and ACT-level math.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
  • 4-YEAR  DEGREE IS REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree is the minimum degree-level requirement. Candidates without a 4-year degree should not apply.
  • This is an IN-PERSON position: A candidate must be able to work in person. Candidates in remote locations should not apply.
  • Certification/License a plus, but not required.
  • Experience levels can vary - current and retired teachers are encouraged. Professionals with expertise in other subject areas are welcome to apply.
  • Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
  • Bring your skills and expertise to help students develop.
  • Flexible, part-time hours - afternoon, evening, weekend, and summer. We are open every day.
  • Work with students in a 1-to-1 setting, with the potential to work with 1-3 students as needed.
  • There are no lesson plans to write or curriculum to develop.
  • No parent-teacher conferences.
  • Actual hourly rate will based on experience, capabilities, and availability.
