Job description

The Treatment Coordinator/Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing patient scheduling, treatment planning, insurance coordination, office flow, & maintaining team culture. This position involves supervising a medium-sized team of 6-15 members and managing billing and patient communications to ensure smooth clinic operations. The role supports staff training and patient education, utilizing software tools like Open Dental, Microsoft Word, Excel, & Google Apps. It offers growth opportunities toward specialized coordinator roles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient scheduling and appointment follow-up
  • Coordinate treatment planning and insurance processes
  • Oversee billing management and patient communication
  • Supervise and train clinical and administrative staff
  • Provide patient education to ensure treatment understanding
  • Utilize industry software for efficient practice management
  • Support team collaboration and workflow optimization

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in healthcare administration
