Global Dynamics, LLC is a leader in the personnel support services industry setting a new standard in career placement and flexible staffing.
Position Title: Behavioral Health Care Coordinator and Administrator
Position Purpose: The Behavioral Health Care Coordinator provides administrative and care coordination support for the Iowa Army National Guard (IA ARNG) Behavioral Health Program. This position coordinates appointments, tracks follow-up requirements, maintains behavioral health records, prepares reports, and supports Behavioral Health Case Managers and the Director of Psychological Health.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate Service Member behavioral health appointments and consultations.
  • Track appointments, attendance, and required follow-up documentation.
  • Maintain current information on military, community, and statewide healthcare resources.
  • Assist Service Members with accessing appropriate behavioral health and medical resources.
  • Complete Release of Information forms and obtain required medical documentation.
  • Maintain administrative documentation and behavioral health records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Prepare medical charts, summaries, reports, and correspondence.
  • Upload, verify, and index behavioral health medical documentation.
  • Maintain open-case tracking and prepare required monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Support Behavioral Health Case Managers with administrative actions.
  • Attend PHA, SRP, and other readiness events as required.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, Privacy Act, and Army medical record requirements.

Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in healthcare, healthcare administration, human resources, or business administration.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic records/client management systems.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare delivery systems preferred.
  • Experience working with military personnel and community agencies preferred.

Working Conditions and Environment
This position is on-site in a medical facility. Driving may be required.
  • Travel: Approximately 10% throughout Iowa
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, with occasional evenings, weekends, and National Guard drill weekends

Physical Requirements
The position requires repetitive motion, such as standing, walking, sitting and bending. Light lifting, up to 20 pounds, may be required.
