Position Summary...As a Senior Data Analyst on the Leadership Assessment Team, you'll design and deliver AI-powered applications and advanced analytics solutions that improve leadership assessment, talent development, and organizational decision-making. You'll work across the solution lifecycle—from understanding business needs and rapidly prototyping new capabilities to developing, deploying, and supporting production-ready solutions.
About the team:
The Leadership Assessment Team delivers objective, data-driven insights to support the identification, selection, promotion, and development of leaders across Walmart, Sam’s Club, and international markets. Operating within the Global Talent and Learning Center of Excellence, this collaborative group includes assessment experts, data engineers, application developers, and AI specialists. The team integrates leadership science, data, technology, and responsible AI to create innovative solutions that enhance organizational outcomes and associate experiences.   • Design and deploy AI enabled applications and analytics products that improve business processes, decisions, and associate experiences.
  • Develop GenAI and LLM solutions using prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, and emerging capabilities.
  • Build web applications, APIs, and interfaces that make AI and analytics accessible to business users.
  • Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and analytical validation to structured and unstructured data.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business problems into prototypes and iterate based on feedback.
  • Design reliable, observable, responsible AI solutions with robust evaluation and user experience in mind.
  • Navigate SSP and enterprise governance through design, security reviews, testing, documentation, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Strong Python and SQL skills for data analysis and analytical solution development.
