JOB TITLE : Web Developer


Responsibilities:

Participate in UI design sessions across several application redesign efforts.

Design, implement, test all changes needed across each system build.

Participate in production support for resulting areas of responsibility.

Support Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning and testing.

Web designers might also be responsible for the maintenance of an existing site.

Continuous performance optimization of our RoR application.

The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming.

Desire and ability to document code, and write documentation in support of the software.




Requirements :

Adequate knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Python relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming , web application development.

Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.

Comfortable working with relational database systems such as MySQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL.

Familiar with JavaScript and Css3 / html5.

Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
