Description

The NeuroMedical Center Clinic in Baton Rouge, LA is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team.


This position is responsible for assisting with general accounting functions, month-end close, financial statement preparation, and assisting with the accounts payable process and other accounting projects.ย 


Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

  • Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and enter monthly journal entries.
  • Assist with all processes involved in the preparation of monthly financial statements for the clinic.
  • Maintain the fixed asset system.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with vendor inquiries and account reconciliations.ย 
  • Assist with review of invoices for appropriate documentation, approvals, and account coding
  • Assist with the processing, coding, and entering accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.ย 
  • Assist with various projects assigned by the Director of Accounting. ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 

Requirements

Qualifications: Candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred and must have a working knowledge of excel. Equivalent work experience in accounting may be considered in lieu of a degree.ย
