About the Role:

The Data Analyst is responsible for identifying, collecting, analyzing, and maintaining data used to support strategic business decisions, operational performance, and process improvement initiatives. This role compiles and transforms data into meaningful insights that help improve outcomes, reduce costs, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience/Education:

  • Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or data engineering, with expertise in SQL, Power BI, dashboards, KPIs, large-scale data analysis, cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, OneLake), and AI-driven tools including Microsoft Copilot.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, Analytics, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience in data analytics, data warehousing, SQL development, business intelligence, reporting, or data engineering may be substituted for formal education requirements.
  • Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm
  • Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops and maintains custom data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI, SharePoint, and other reporting tools.
  • Applies knowledge of data, data structures, and analytical tools to identify trends, monitor expenditures, evaluate utilization, and support operational decision-making.
  • Extracts, transforms, and analyzes data from EMR, payer, HR, database, spreadsheet, and other operational systems.
  • Creates metrics and reports that provide insight into daily business processes and organizational performance.
  • Identifies opportunities to create actionable reports, improve processes, and strengthen data-driven decision-making.
  • Evaluates current processes, reports, and workflows and recommends performance improvement initiatives.
  • Provides recurring and ad hoc reports to internal and external stakeholders in support of daily operations.
  • Collaborates with leadership and business partners to develop meaningful outcomes reporting that supports care improvement and innovation.
  • Creates summary reports of performance improvement activities, outcomes, and trends for appropriate committees.
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and modern data platforms to improve reporting efficiency, business processes, and organizational decision-making.
