What will your typical day look like?

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Domain Modeler to define, standardize, and govern the core data structures and semantics across enterprise data domains (e.g., Customer, Finance, Workforce).

This role is critical to eliminate inconsistent definitions across systems, enable reusable data products, and establish a canonical data foundation for the Global Data Platform.

The role will work closely with Platform Architecture, Data Product Pods, and Domain Stakeholders to ensure data consistency and alignment across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain canonical data models for assigned domain(s)
  • Establish standard entity definitions, relationships, and domain boundaries
  • Create and maintain business glossaries and data dictionaries
  • Develop logical data models at the entity and relationship level
  • Partner with data product pods to ensure alignment with domain models
  • Define data ownership, stewardship, and quality standards
  • Resolve cross-system data conflicts and inconsistencies
  • Collaborate with platform and engineering architects to ensure implementation alignment
  • Maintain centralized documentation and identify gaps for remediation

Required Skills & Experience

  • At least 4 years of strong experience in logical data modeling and domain-driven design
  • Experience defining canonical models across multiple enterprise systems
  • Experience with data governance, business glossaries, and metadata management
  • Exposure to enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, or MDM platforms
  • Ability to resolve conflicting data definitions across distributed environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Knowledge of reference data and taxonomy design
  • Experience working in data governance forums or review boards
  • Databricks Certified Data Engineer (Associate or Professional)

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
