ย What Youโ€™ll Do

ย Youโ€™ll support a variety of environmental projects, with a focus on groundwater monitoring, field data collection, and environmental data management. This role will primarily involve fieldwork, with some office-based support, including:

  • Conducting groundwater quality sampling at monitoring wells and collecting field data
  • Supporting environmental monitoring programs and field investigations
  • Recording, organizing, and managing environmental data using Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Assisting with technical reports, tables, figures, and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining accurate field notes, records, and project documentation

This role provides the opportunity to develop practical consulting experience, strengthen technical skills, and learn from experienced professionals while contributing to a variety of environmental projects.

What You Bring

ย Weโ€™re looking for someone who is curious, organized, and eager to grow their career in environmental consulting. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A diploma or degree in Environmental Technology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, or a related field
  • Experience or interest in groundwater monitoring, environmental fieldwork, and data management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Access
  • Interest in environmental data analysis and technical report preparation
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and organize information effectively
  • The ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • A valid Ontario driverโ€™s license and access to a vehicle
  • A willingness and ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • The ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork, including occasional lifting and carrying of equipment and materials up to 75 lbs

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

The final compensation offered will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
