Job description

The Business Analyst, Data Center Capacity Reporting is responsible for maintaining EdgeConneX's global inventories for current and future capacity and translating the inventories into reports and presentations consumed by internal and external stakeholders.   Sitting at the intersection of Market Development and Sales, this role ensures that the most current and reliable site and capacity information flows to the end users who need it. The successful candidate will combine strong data discipline with a knack for translating complex portfolio information into clear and accurate reports and presentations.

Primary Responsibilities

Data Management & Repository Ownership:

Maintain portfolio capacity data within the corresponding systems, ensuring they serve as the single source of truth for capacity information across the organization. Partner across workstreams - including Engineering, Sales, and PMO - to drive timely and consistent data updates and enforce data standards, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and completeness. Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies before they impact downstream reporting.

Internal Capacity Reporting:

Produce recurring and ad-hoc internal capacity reports that provide the sales organization with a current view of available capacity across our global portfolio. Tailor reports to support pipeline conversations, deal qualification, and strategic account planning.

External Customer-Facing Reporting:

Produce recurring and ad-hoc capacity reports that highlight our portfolio to external customers. Align reporting with our customers' specific templates and requirements. Ensure external deliverables are accurate and appropriately scoped for the audience.

Portfolio & Site Presentations:

Develop presentations that highlight the EdgeConneX portfolio at both a global and individual-site level. Translate technical and commercial site details into a narrative that resonates with sales teams, customers, and executive stakeholders.

Sales Enablement & Training:

Lead recurring internal calls to inform the Sales team of current and future properties, expansions, and changes to available capacity. Serve as a go-to resource for sales when questions arise about specific markets or sites.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, dynamic datasets and maintain data integrity across multiple contributors
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting platforms, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), or data repositories (SharePoint, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear presentations and narratives
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally and influencing without direct authority
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deliverables on recurring deadlines
  • Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to incorporate them into workflows and reporting solutions.
