Primary Responsibilities
Reporting & Analytics
  • Analyze sales, inventory, distribution, and performance data.
  • Identify positive and negative business trends and communicate findings to leadership and sales teams.

  • Support forecasting, inventory planning, and promotional analysis.
  • Assist with retailer and category performance reviews.

  • Assist with new item launches, promotional programs, and customer initiatives.
  • Coordinate follow-up activities resulting from customer meetings.
  • Help prepare proposals, recommendations, and customer communications.
  • Support account growth initiatives and strategic projects.
Presentation Development
  • Develop professional PowerPoint presentations, sales decks, business reviews, and customer-facing materials.
  • Create Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), retailer scorecards, promotional recaps, and performance reports.
  • Transform complex data into clear, compelling business stories and recommendations.
  • Support buyer meetings, line reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Maintain presentation templates and reporting standards.
Account Coordination
  • Assist with customer communication and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate activities between Sales, Merchandising, Operations, Purchasing, and Leadership.
  • Track customer requests, project timelines, and action items.
  • Help ensure commitments made to customers are executed effectively.
  • Support onboarding of new customers and programs.
Special Projects
  • Participate in projects designed to improve customer service, operational efficiency, and sales growth.
  • Assist with developing new reporting tools and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve execution, communication, and accountability across the organization.
  • Support leadership with strategic initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, account coordination, business analytics, operations, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to communicate data and insights clearly.
  • Experience in convenience store, retail, wholesale, distribution, or consumer packaged goods industries is a plus.
What We're Looking For
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong analytical thinker who enjoys working with numbers.
  • Comfortable building reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through.
  • Strong communicator who works well across departments.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
What Success Looks Like
  • Accurate and timely reporting for leadership and sales teams.
  • Professional, impactful presentations that support customer growth.
  • Opportunities and challenges identified before they become larger issues.
  • Strong support of sales initiatives and customer programs.
  • Effective coordination between departments and customers.
  • Improved visibility into account performance and business trends.
Why Join Max Distributing?
