What You'll Do

As an Inpatient RN, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centered care while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
  • Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital policy
  • Collaborate with physicians and care team members to achieve positive patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care
  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and call lights
  • Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies and life-threatening situations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and healing patient environment
  • Participate in unit-based Quality Assurance and patient safety initiatives
  • Support the orientation and training of new staff and nursing students as requested
  • Practice within the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Active RN license eligible to practice in Wisconsin
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to safely use patient care equipment and meet physical and cognitive job demands
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
