As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Dalton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and/or operational irregularities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify badges, visitor logs, and/or delivery activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Support site rules and reporting processes by observing facility conditions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with incident reports, shift handoff notes, and other required records.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
