As a Senior Art Director, you will conceptualize ideas generally with a Senior Copywriter. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will develop and realize your concepts, all within the marketing strategy and across traditional and digital mediums.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Create and develop original, effective and memorable ideas and campaigns.
  • Take initiative in understanding all aspects of creative elements that go into executing an idea.
  • Conceptualize and design campaign materials for client meetings:
  • Assess campaigns' visual requirements;
  • Produce projects (digital, social, radio, TV, print);
  • Supervise and approve, in collaboration with the copywriter, each stage of the campaign at the visual level.
  • Bring ideas to life with mastery of craft and keen attention to detail;
  • Occasionally lead pitch undertakings;
  • Identifying new creative opportunities within projects;
  • Possess the confidence to present and defend ideas internally and externally;
  • Provide work that is on strategy and reflects the brand, with minimum revisions required by the client
  • Participate in new business development;
  • Understand how advertising works to solve marketing problems;
  • Possess and develop a comprehensive vision (360 degrees) of the creative concept and ensure that all connected activities (digital, social, TV, radio and print) are consistent with the strategy;
  • Work closely with copywriters, graphic designers, illustrators, client services, respecting timing & budgets.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Diploma in graphic design or in a relevant discipline;
  • Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in a similar position within an advertising agency;
  • Healthcare agency experience is an asset but not required;
  • Client-focused, marked creative sensibility;
  • Solid interpersonal skills, strong and enthusiastic presenter;
  • Ability to influence others, highly collaborative;
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once;
  • Capable to work under pressure and able to work independently;
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
  • Proficiency in Adobe XD, Figma and Sketch, an asset;
