About the role
As a Senior Associate, Corporate Communications, you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes as a key member of the Corporate Communications team. You will collaborate with senior business leaders, executive offices, creative, digital, and marketing teams to help shape and amplify Cognizant's narrative across media, digital, and executive communications channels. You will have the autonomy to lead, innovate, and improve workflows while upholding our commitment to quality and continuous learning. This role supports Crisis Communications, Partner Communications, Media Partnerships, and Corporate Functions while contributing to initiatives that strengthen the Cognizant brand and reputation.
In this role, you will:
  • Deeply understand Cognizant's narrative and business model and develop media relations strategies that advance Cognizant's position as a global AI builder.
  • Support communications planning and execution for executive appearances, company announcements, and major business milestones.
  • Create high-quality communications content including press releases, social media posts, executive talking points, and other audience-ready materials.
  • Partner with executive offices and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver leadership messaging while building relationships that drive business outcomes.
  • Participate in crisis and issues communications efforts, helping ensure timely, effective, and consistent messaging while monitoring and measuring communications effectiveness.

What you must have to be considered
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $100,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
