The Stine family, including 3 generations of Stine family members, together with hundreds of associates, work side by side together toward providing the nation's best home improvement shopping experience and premier preferred workplace of its kind. Our retail and contractor supply locations provide thousands of quality products for new construction, remodeling, and industrial projects. Stine helps customers associates, and families build their dreams!
Job Summary:
The Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring the proper inventory levels are maintained by working with the Department Managers and the Corporate Office using the POS system and actual physical stock. This position requires organizational skills, ability to make independent judgments and effective communication skills both verbally and in writing. The Inventory Controller must work well with management, other associates and customers.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: High School education or equivalent
  2. Training and Experience: Some experience with building materials is preferred.
  3. Job Knowledge: None requried
  4. Physical Demands: Work requires much physical effort; involves little sitting, standing, walking and some heavy lifting on a regular basis. Works in and out of air-conditioned environment. (Important: This job is classified in the physical demands section of the job description [Form IV-31] as constant heavy work and occasional extra heavy work.)
