Your work will enhance RBC GAM's engagement with our target audiences - in particular, driving new content relevant to intermediary audiences.

What will you do?

  • Partner with Investment, Distribution, and Marketing teams to generate high impact thought leadership across media channels (print, digital, video), ensuring alignment with commercial goals and client needs
  • Leverage and adapt content from other offices, and refresh and update existing evergreen materials, such as webpages and whitepapers
  • Take accountability for editorial calendars, timely delivery, impact measurement and stakeholder engagement
  • Proactively work with key Investment and Distribution stakeholders to help define and articulate client needs, key messages and client call to action ahead of content production, ensuring these messages are clearly reflected in content output
  • Leverage insights, including using AI tools, across different media types, geographies and distribution opportunities. In particular, work closely with global content teams to ensure swift leverage of content across regions
  • Partner with Digital and Marketing teams to analyze content performance, share insights, and identify opportunities for improvement, such as campaign success or A/B testing results
  • Pilot new content formats, technologies, and distribution tactics to stay ahead of industry trends. Specifically, demonstrate efficiency gains through AI

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 10+ years' experience in leading on the creation of investment insights within asset management. Deep knowledge of investment markets and decision making, and confidence to challenge/influence senior stakeholders. Investment strategy experience covering fixed income, equities, and alternatives
  • Proven ability to originate audience appropriate content independently and distill complex investment concepts into clear, engaging and visually compelling content for institutional and intermediary audiences across multiple geographies
  • Prolific output capacity, problem-solving agility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric environment
  • Ability to take the lead on stakeholder engagement and collaborate with multiple audiences to achieve shared objectives, coupled with the proven autonomy to drive initiatives independently.
  • Experience deploying AI tools for content optimization and efficiency, and a growth mindset for testing emerging trends
  • A working understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks across jurisdictions, particularly in US, and other geographies a plus

Nice-to-have

  • Direct client-facing or portfolio management experience

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program include competitive compensation and flexible benefits, such as 401(k) program with company-matching contributions, health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and paid-time off.

  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
  • Opportunities to do challenging work.
  • Opportunities to build close relationships with clients.
