About the Role:
The Highlander Group is seeking a detail‑oriented, client‑focused Tax Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll help deliver exceptional, personalized tax preparation services while supporting a firm that believes tax work should feel human — not transactional. If you care about people as much as numbers, you’ll fit right in. 
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for individuals and small businesses
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication and attentive service
  • Explain complex tax concepts in a way clients can easily understand
  • Identify opportunities to improve clients’ tax outcomes and long‑term financial well‑being
  • Collaborate with a supportive team committed to integrity, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing or a related role (preferred but not required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
